Our Community Impact
One For The Team CIC was established in 2021 and started operating at the beginning of January 2022. Within this section we aim to highlight some our work and demonstrate our Community Impact so far as we now start our 4th year in the 3rd sector.
Since early 2022, One For The Team CIC have interacted with 52 different organisations across Scotland and have written a total of 50 Funding Applications to varying Grant Funders.
These Grant Funding Applications have been to support ;Large Capital Projects, Revenue Costs, New Projects, Staff Salaries, Contributions towards Overheads of an organisation, Essential Equipment, Training, Feasibility Studies, Events, etc.
We are very proud to have to date been able to secure a Grant Funding Total of £4,390,380.00 for 3rd sector organisations which has assisted in the creation and sustainability of 30 Jobs for local people in varying roles across Scotland.
In the development phase of these large capital projects, revenue cost applications and core cost funding bids we have been tasked with the development of 13 substantial Business Plans and 12 Associated 5 Year Financial Projections as well as the creation of numerous supporting documents to go alongside Grant Funding Applications .
During these years we as a Community Interest Company have worked supporting different types of 3rd sector organisations across 11 of Scotlands 32 Local Authority Areas these include;

Dumfries and Galloway
South Lanarkshire
North Lanarkshire
Glasgow
Edinburgh
West Lothian
Inverclyde
West Dumbartonshire
A recent example of our Community Impact is demonstrated below.
Over the last two years we have worked alongside Ardrossan Winton Rovers CIC and Ardrossan Community Sports Hub SCIO in the North Ayrshire town to help them raise over £800,000 of Capital Grant Funding. This funding will enable the partnership to transform the only Full Size 11 aside Grass Football Pitch in their town to a Brand New All Weather FIFA standard Astroturf Facility at Winton Park. This project also includes the delivery of 4 brand new LED Floodlighting columns and an SFA compliant Modular Changing Unit with Accessible facilities within.
One For The Team CIC were involved from; the initial feasibility options appraisal, Community Consultation events, Production of the Business Plan, Discussions with proposed Funders and Local Authority, Involved in developing the financial projections, writing the Funding Applications and production of supporting documents and assisting at all site meetings until the project reached completion.
