Prior to joining One For The Team CIC, Calum worked for several years within the care sector gaining a range of experience working with young people and clients with complex needs and challenging behaviour, including mentoring support, well developed planning skills, experience of leading group coaching sessions and working in 1-2-1 situations. With a strong interest in sports development and a coaching background, Calum has experience of working with a range of partner agencies in learning, health, employment, leisure, and recreation. Calum also worked previously as a research assistant for the Community Workforce Partnership supporting the development of proposals for environmental training programmes with housing associations and football clubs and securing associated funding for these initiatives. Calum’s key strengths lie in the identification of funding opportunities, project development support and the preparation of project proposals, funding applications and associated business plans.

Hugh has worked in community regeneration and economic development since 1989, working in a variety of roles in social enterprise, housing association and public sector environments. Before creating One For The Team CIC, Hugh spent 18 years working for Cunninghame Housing Association where as Head of Social and Economic Development he was responsible for developing and delivering a range of projects including physical community assets such as enterprise centres, health and wellbeing hubs and 3G AstroTurf facilities; a large furniture reuse social enterprise; several training and employability projects and social enterprise support programmes. Key skills centre around project development and management, business planning and development and securing funding for a wide range of regeneration projects in community settings.

Alan has worked for HM Revenue and Customs since 1985. Starting in Ayr before moving to Livingston in 1989 and is now based in the Edinburgh Branch. Alan has had different roles throughout his career from Personal Tax to Debt Collection. Alan has been involved with the trade union movement over his career again having held different positions. On a personal side Alan was involved in grassroots football as a coach over a 25 year period, before changing sports to Handball around 2010 . This resulted in him being selected as a National Technical Officer at the London 2012 Olympics Games. Alan is still involved in handball at a club level with Scottish Champions West Lothian Handball and at National level + European Competitions.

Colin has worked in Community Regeneration since 2002 and has 20 years of varied experience across the third sector, working on multiple projects and social enterprises across the three Ayrshires and Dumfries and Galloway. As well as experience working within the Housing Sector and Social Inclusion Partnerships Colin has an extensive knowledge in training and development gleaned from many years as a training manager in the private sector for global Original Equipment Manufacturers. Key skills include project management, financial and business planning, training facilitation, identifying funding and preparing bids. He has successfully delivered several recycling and reuse projects over the past 20 years and has worked across this sector with local authorities, partner agencies and other social enterprises. He also has experience working with sports related social enterprises, assisting with funding strategies and business planning to acquire and develop capital assets for community use.

Tom has extensive senior Management experience with major contractors in the construction industry and a track record in developing innovative models to create training and employment opportunities from construction and housing investment. Between 2002 and 2011 Tom was Head of Regeneration Services at The Wise Group, one of Scotland`s largest social enterprises, developing, piloting and delivering a wide range of community-based employability models. In 2012 Tom established Community Workforce Partnership (CWP) to focus specifically on developing and managing community-based construction and environmental projects. As Managing Director of CWP Tom has developed a range of partnership projects with local housing associations in Glasgow generating significant paid training and employment opportunities for local people - ranging from hard landscaping and environmental improvements to significant new build housing development.
